Setup
A checklist of what is configured and what is not: sign-in, integrations, connected devices, and the like. It reports “Setup complete” once nothing is outstanding.
Backup
Export data writes your Orchard state to a file. Restore data reads one back. This covers preferences, queue state, audio profiles, Replay events, and pins.
Use this before reinstalling, moving machines, or experimenting with settings you might want to undo.
Diagnostics
Reports Orchard’s runtime state: version, platform, native addon status, service reachability, and recent errors. Attach this to a support report when something is broken.
Application
| Setting | Values | Default |
|---|---|---|
| Close to tray | on / off | off |
| Beta channel | on / off | off |
Close to tray off means closing the window quits Orchard.

Where settings are stored
Renderer preferences live in local storage inside Orchard’s per-user data directory. Main-process state (session state, graphics mode, paired devices) lives as JSON files in the same directory. Paths are listed in Getting Started.
